Hofer Powertrain
Hofer Powertrain is a niche Engineering/Manufacturer of Sportscar Transmissions that was in the middle of a transmission development project as their engineering team approached us with the request to audit their engineering program against the VDA New Product Introduction Standard. The purpose was to highlight risk in their development program early and trigger effective countermeasures to avoid quality problems at production launch stage.

The team successfully filled some gaps in the engineering program and raised satisfaction levels of their end customer significantly. Furthermore, through the systematic deployment of DFMEA Methodologies and the right level of Product Validation and Engineering robustness our client successfully managed the risk of the project and was able execute the product manufacturing launch on time and with little problems from a Quality perspective.
